Ketanji Brown Jackson Sworn In The Supreme Court

Ketanji Brown Jackson will the 116th Supreme Court justice and the first black woman to serve on the court. Jackson's nomination was confirmed by a 53-47 Senate vote, with three Republicans casting their support. She will replace Justice Stephen Breyer and be the fourth woman on the Supreme Court. After graduating from Harvard, Jackson worked for several prominent law firms while also acting as a public defender. She has been a federal judge since 2013. Ketanji Brown Jackson will soon be ruling on vital decisions such as climate and immigration.
