Nicholas' Remnants Continue Rain Threat For Southeast Louisiana

The remnant low of Nicholas lingering over Louisiana will continue to pose a rain threat to the southeastern part of the state and points east.

A flash flood watch remains in effect through Friday night as more rain is expected through the weekend and possibly into next week.

The National Weather Service New Orleans/Baton Rouge office notes the area has already seen anywhere from five to ten inches of rain with locally higher amounts.
