Arrest Warrant Issued For Mike Epps In New Orleans Fight
Funnyman Mike Epps finds himself in hot water today after being a no-show at an arraignment in New Orleans for b eating up a man at a New Orleans casino early Saturday morning.
According to the NY Daily News, a Virginia man — who was in New Orleans for the NBA All-Star game — accused Epps, 46, and Thomas Cobb, 52, of striking him and repeatedly hitting him in the face “unprovoked.”
The arrest affidavit for the incident gave little detail about the altercation, the New Orleans Advocate reported.
The alleged victim says he was walking through the casino when he spotted the actor/comedian and said, “Oh, Mike Epps” … according to The Advocate.
“I had a handful of chips, so I just basically bent down to protect myself, and then my friends ran over and got in front of me, and then security got there,” the unidentified man told The Advocate.
“My face is still swollen right now and it was blackened shut,” the man said Tuesday.
Epps and Cobbs were released on $1,000 bail, however they failed to appear in court for an arraignment on Tuesday, according to the Advocate.
Now there’s a warrant out for Epps (and the other guy) for skipping the arraignment.
Uh oh Mike, you in trouble …so far there’s been no response from Epps’ camp.
