The Regional Transit Authority says limited bus service will resume this morning as New Orleans thaws out of the deep freeze.
RTA says 44 buses will run on main routes that are now safe.
All streetcar lines are still out of service because of ice accumulation on the tracks. Service is expected to resume maybe by Sunday, starting with the Canal line.
Weather permitting, ferry service should resume this morning.
Limited paratransit service is available, with full service scheduled to resume on Saturday.
